International Collaborative Sjogrens Syndrome Research Study

UKPSSR contributed our samples to Dr. Kathy Moser at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.  Preliminary research data "A High-Density Genome-Wide Association Study by the Sjögren's Genetics Network (SGENE) Identifies Both Novel Susceptibility Loci for Primary Sjogren's Syndrome and Overlapping Effects with other Autoimmune Disorders" were presented at the American College of Rheumatology Annual Conference in Atlanta, USA.

Research into Cardiovascular Risk in Sjogrens Syndrome Patients.

Dr. Maria Juarez, will be making an oral presentation on research into 'Prevalence of Traditional Cardiovascular Risk Factors in Females with Primary Sjogrens Syndrome' on behalf of the UKPSSR at the British Society for Rheumatology Annual Meeting in Brighton, UK on 13 April, 2011.
